As a driver you are the ‘front line’ contact and representative for our company. As such you will be communicating directly with clients or site contacts, you will need to ensure accuracy of paperwork or be aware of any potential issues to raise with the Transport / Customer Service team. **Main Contribution** To undertake deliveries/collection within the structure and framework as described by Good Distribution Practice (GDP) Guidelines, CRYOPDP Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and UK legislation* Packing, loading and unloading delivery vans as required for your designated route* Obtain a full and complete understanding of the department’s responsibilities* Efficient & professional cross departmental interaction* Manage daily working relations with Customers, Supervisory team & Internal departments* Adherence to CRYOPDP policies and procedures for delivery/collection performance; Security; Health & Safety & Data Security* Ensuring adherence and formalities in relation to VOSA transport regulations – daily vehicle road worthiness check* Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws, regulations, and company standards* Ensuring appropriate use of company vehicles and systems* Ensuring adherence to Dangerous Goods regulations and documentation* Engage in all aspects of CRYOPDP transport operational duties when required* Working with Transport and Warehouse supervisory teams, internal departments and Customers to deliver service excellence in line with CRYOPDP KPI’s and Customer requirements* Comply with packaging and temperature control requirements in relation to Customer needs* Be professional & courteous in all aspects of communication both externally and internally**Warehouse Duties*** Receive process & sort all inbound order/documentation from various printers and email communication* Manual filling to approved client requested standard of packaging in line with S.O.P.* Correct labeling of packaging & overpack in line with required S.O.P. & SLA* Scanning of completed packaging as communicated* Collating of client packaging request ready for despatch* Reporting of delays/discrepancies via telephone and or email communication to – Line Manager* Completion of (E.O.D.) End Of Day Reporting in line with S.O.P.* Daily/Weekly Stock control & communication* Be aware and ensure compliance with PDP policies for security, health & safety and data security* Promote cooperation between functions and departments****Interface****Internal - Effective communication with transport manager/supervisorsExternal - Customer specific communications on a daily basis at the point of collection and/or delivery.****Required Skills****2 years minimum Driving professionally.
