The Recipe

In this collaborative role, you’ll partner with the distribution team to ensure new drivers are smoothly onboarded, meeting all Company policies, health and safety guidelines, and legal requirements. You’ll also support our existing drivers with ongoing training and development to help them excel in their roles.

We’re passionate about personal development, and you’ll have the chance to implement a training schedule that supports drivers working towards higher category licenses through Warburtons.

With previous experience in Distribution, you’ll have a strong knowledge of transport legislation, including driver regulations, the mobile working time directive, and the Highway Code. A current CPC is essential, along with excellent communication skills and a passion for coaching and developing others.

Are you a top-tier Driver Trainer or Driver Assessor looking to take on your next exciting challenge? We’re seeking a dedicated Driver Trainer for our new state of the art depot in Biggleswade. This role is Monday to Friday with some flexibility needed.

Working closely with the Driver Operations Team at the site and the Distribution Training Team, you’ll play a key role in supporting our teams by delivering driver training and assessments for both new and current team members. You’ll lead by example, championing safe, economical, and professional driving standards and acting as an ambassador for excellence in driving.
