A specialized education institution in Sheffield is seeking a Drama Teacher to instruct students of varying abilities in drama skills such as voice, movement, and acting techniques. The role involves collaborating with fellow teachers to prepare productions while adapting teaching methods to each child's individual learning needs. This is a full-time role, focusing on providing a positive and enriching educational experience for students facing developmental and learning challenges.
40 Hours per week, 42 weeks per year(starting salary dependent on qualifications and experience)
We have an exciting new opportunity at Brantwood Specialist School to teach Drama skills (including voice, movement and acting techniques) to groups of students of mixed abilities.
You will be collaborating with other drama teachers and tutors within the Trust to prepare for and stage productions.
The school provides a child-centred curriculum, adapted to each child’s developmental and learning needs, and the opportunity to discover each child’s path to lifelong learning, offering a variety of educational programs designed to meet the needs of students with developmental delays, social and sensory sensitivities, Autism, SEMH and learning difficulties.
