Are you a qualified Dispensing Optician looking for the next step in your career? This is the role for you!

Position: Dispensing Optician Manager

Location: Across three stores - Altrincham, Sale and Urmston. Ideally will be 2 days in Sale, 2 days in Altrincham and 1 day in Urmston but this can be discussed further.

Salary: Base salary of £32,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)

Working Hours: Full-Time (40 hours) inc. weekends

Experience Level: A qualified Dispensing Optician with experience delivering training, support, new launches and supervision (Cert 3 and 4) - thorough training and continued training and development will be provided

The Role in a Nutshell:

• Ensure that you provide good levels of customer service to customers at all times.
• Liaise with Optometrists to ensure that each customer you dispense receives a consistent quality handover.
• Manage aftersales service (including complaints and problem solving) in a customer service focused “can do” manner.
• Contribute to achievement of individual and team sales targets by demonstrating effective professional sales techniques.
• You will set the standard, empowering the teams, briefing the teams to deliver excellent people training, development and succession of the people plan.
• You will supervise, coach and develop the team to improve their performance, productivity, optical knowledge and the service they deliver.
• Ensuring all new starters receive a personalised induction with a welcoming experience, you will encourage the existing team to develop their knowledge of our products and services, support and grow the Cert 3 & 4 development journey with supervision.
• You will support by using KPI’s to support an increase in sales, minimise labour turnover and maximise people within the businesses.
