Job description

This position will be located at our Cottonwood Care Home in Ashford, Al

Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm

Position will require on call after hours, nights, holidays and/or weekends and/or providing physical coverage within the program.

Responsibilities
  • Supervising a team, consisting of varied levels of education and experience
  • Preparing and carrying out budgets for the program
  • Managing the resident finance program
  • Providing therapeutic services to consumers of the home
  • Partner with nursing staff to monitor the medication program
  • Use an electronic health record system to document and maintain consumer records
  • Position will require on-call status to include nights, weekends and holidays based on program needs and/or may require providing physical coverage within the program as needed.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related Mental Health field with successful completion of a relevant clinical practicum, or a Master's Degree in Psychiatric Nursing with current ABN license
  • Must have at least (2) years post masters experience in a direct service position
  • Completion of a clinical practicum
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Travel may be required within the catchment area and/or statewide to meet program and training needs
  • Licensure as an LPC, LICSW or LMFT in the State of Alabama is preferred but not required
