Qualifications

• Suitably qualified tax professional with experience in UK corporation tax.
• Solid technical grounding in tax accounting.
• Effective working relationships with tax authorities.

Responsibilities

• Support direct tax reporting and compliance functions.
• Manage the process for internal direct tax reporting.
• Finalise direct tax computations for submission to HMRC.
• Post monthly tax charges and produce consolidated tax charges.
• Assist in forecasting effective tax rates.

Skills

Tax qualification from Chartered Institute of Taxation or equivalent

Experience of a Big 4 Tax environment

5 years' post-qualification experience in an in-house tax role

Strong data analysis skills

Ability to work independently and in a team

Education

Chartered Institute of Taxation or Association of Chartered Accountants qualification
