A local educational institution is seeking a Dining Room Assistant to serve nutritious meals and maintain hygiene at Cefneithin School. The role involves setting up and clearing tables while ensuring the dining area complies with cleanliness standards. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The position offers a competitive salary and works during term time only.
Salary: £25,390 (equivalent to £13.16 hourly for a 15‑hour week)

Vacancy details: Vacancy ID 2633, 1 open position at Grade A +4%, salary £25,390, contract hours 15 hours per week (3 hours per day) with an annualised pay scheme over 52 weeks.
You will be responsible for serving healthy nutritious meals to pupils whilst ensuring the dining room area is maintained in a clean and hygienic condition. Other duties will include setting up and clearing away of tables, general cleaning duties and maintaining accurate records of pupils with food allergies and special dietary requirements.
We need a motivated and dedicated person who has a positive attitude, willingness to learn new skills, flexibility and willingness to assist with other catering duties.
