A prominent ecommerce company in London is looking for a Digital Trading Manager to oversee the ecommerce sales channel. This role requires 5+ years of experience in digital teams, expertise in tools like Shopify and GA4, and strong analytical skills. The successful candidate will manage the trading calendar, optimize the digital customer journey, and collaborate with various departments to enhance the ecommerce experience. The Digital Trading Manager will own the ecommerce sales channel, operating across both Retail and Trade (B2B customers). Responsible for forecasting ecommerce sales performance and the digital content and visual merchandising execution to support that sales forecast, the role demands an understanding of both commercial and brand priorities and a proactive optimisation of the ecommerce experience to maximise performance.
This role will manage the trading calendar, the digital execution of all launches (including new season, capsules and other initiatives), optimise the digital customer journey from initial discovery to conversion, and collaborate closely with the Digital Product Manager. The responsibilities span all territories, with responsibility for two websites: the UK/Rest of World site and the North America site. The Digital Trading Manager will also oversee the Ecommerce Coordinator to ensure campaigns are executed with excellence across all digital touchpoints.
