We are deeply committed to shifting from being a B Corp sustainable business to a truly regenerative one, giving back more than we take. We are a work in progress and the successful candidate will have an innovative and proactive approach in everything they do to support this commitment and our wider mission.

Role Overview

The Digital Trading Manager will own the ecommerce sales channel, operating across both Retail and Trade (B2B customers). Responsible for forecasting ecommerce sales performance and the digital content and visual merchandising execution to support that sales forecast, the role demands an understanding of both commercial and brand priorities and a proactive optimisation of the ecommerce experience to maximise performance.

This role will manage the trading calendar, the digital execution of all launches (including new season, capsules and other initiatives), optimise the digital customer journey from initial discovery to conversion, and collaborate closely with the Digital Product Manager. The responsibilities span all territories, with responsibility for two websites: the UK/Rest of World site and the North America site. The Digital Trading Manager will also oversee the Ecommerce Coordinator to ensure campaigns are executed with excellence across all digital touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the global ecommerce trading strategy inline with budgets and overall business ambition.
  • Forecast and monitor ecommerce sales.
  • Own the ecommerce lines in the company calendar; including website content areas, email and SMS campaigns, and commercial and promotional planning.
  • Analyse and communicate the trajectory of ecommerce KPIs.
  • Work with the Customer & Strategy Director to set KPI benchmarks and goals from analytics and competitive analysis; review and provide insight to leadership as needed.
  • Visual merchandising strategy and execution, including new page suggestions for SEO and UX value, campaign planning and A/B testing using Athos (previously SearchSpring), with support from the eCommerce Coordinator.
  • Oversee and coordinate product (new season and capsule collections) and brand launches, working closely with the Digital Product Manager, Merchandising, Operations and Content teams.
  • Manage the search strategy (organic and paid) in conjunction with an external search consultant.
  • Use analytics to make data-led decisions on initiatives that drive recruitment, repeat purchase and overall conversion.
  • Collaborate with regional Trade teams and other departments to continually optimise the digital user experience; work closely with the Digital Product Manager to prioritise development updates.
  • Support the team with end‑to‑end testing of new site fixes and features, liaising with the development agency.
Requirements
  • 5 or more years of experience working in an ecommerce or digital team, preferably for a premium brand.
  • Extensive experience operating within a CMS, preferably Shopify.
  • Analytical skills, experience building weekly/monthly reports and confidence using Excel.
  • Experience managing online/performance marketing channels (SEO, PPC, email, affiliates and retargeting).
  • Comprehensive understanding of analysis tools such as GA4, Hotjar and CXP platforms.
  • Strong business judgement and decision‑making skills; ability to identify, prioritise and articulate highest‑impact initiatives.
  • Ability to identify, prioritise and articulate high‑priority tasks and longer‑term projects.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident team player and leader, with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, oral and written.
  • 22 days holiday allowance + ½ a day for your birthday + Bank Holidays.
  • 4‑day week scheme opt‑in – Nature Days.
  • Cycle to Work Loan Scheme.
  • Payday social every month.
  • At least two exciting large team gatherings per year.
  • Monthly team lunches as part of our team meetings.
  • Breakfast, fruit and plenty of herbal teas and coffee.
  • Medicash Health and Wellbeing Services – claim back scheme.
  • Opportunity to join important eco summits and protests.
  • 30% discount across HOH products and first grabs on sample sale items.
