What you will be involved in
  • Working in cross-functional teams with our clients, supporting the delivery of their initiatives
  • Contributing to design, development and the operations of internal applications
  • Communicating effectively, internally and externally

  • Advocating best practices in software development, including XP (TDD), agility, DevOps and CI/CD
  • Growing the company by contributing to our ongoing recruitment efforts
  • Being a curious technologist with an appetite to develop new skills
  • Mentoring TDS staff, growing their technical and consultancy skills
  • Actively participating in internal product and systems development
Technical Requirements

In addition to the roles and responsibilities outlined above, a successful candidate will have at least 2 years of professional experience working in a cloud technology environment using Azure, with experience building and operating applications within this space. A candidate will have worked with the following technologies:

  • Solid understanding of Azure IaaS/PaaS services such as logic apps, web apps, app gateways, vnets, APIM etc)
  • Containerisation and orchestration technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Service Fabric, Helm
  • An infrastructure as code tool, such as: Terraform, ARM Templates
  • An Configuration as Code tool, such as : Ansible
  • A DevOps-friendly scripting language, such as Python, Powershell, Bash
  • An understanding of a cloud provider’s IAM architecture and its security implications
  • Continuous Delivery pipelines: GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, YAML
