A children's care service in Nottingham is seeking a Deputy Manager for Children's Homes. The role involves direct care, supervising young people, and leading management in the absence of the Registered Manager. Applicants must have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Care or equivalent and at least one year of experience in a similar setting. This full-time position offers a competitive salary with additional sleep-in allowances.
Job Title: Deputy Manager - Children's Homes
Location: Newark, Nottingham
Salary: £28,000 - £31,000 base with £62.64 per sleep, bringing potential salary to £38,516
Working Hours: Full-time, including weekends (according to shift and rota system)
Number of Sleeps Required: Regular sleep-in duties as scheduled - Working a typical 2 on 4 off at approximately 10 sleeps per month
Service: Children’s Home
Service Users: YPs, specific needs and personal plans
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma – Residential Care or NVQ 3 – Caring for Children and Young People
Experience Required: At least 1 year’s experience or equivalent of work with young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties

An experienced, dedicated Deputy Homes Manager to ensure the team delivers the highest quality care and therapeutic support to young people.
