As a Degree Apprentice Quantity Surveyor within our Cementation operating unit, you’ll experience the full life cycle of piling and foundation projects through a rotational programme - from tendering to site delivery. You’ll develop your quantity surveying skills, while growing your geotechnical knowledge and experiencing civil engineering projects

The first year of your apprenticeship will be a combination of working out of our Cementation Skanska office in Doncaster or Skanska UK head office in Leavesden, Watford, however, you will also be encouraged to visit other sites and projects during this time.
From year two, you will start completing rotations in different locations (site and office based across the UK).
Rotations
These will range in duration from 1 month up to 9 months and you will receive additional allowances, on top of your basic salary, to assist with the cost of staying away from home or relocating.
The rotational nature of this programme will give you exposure to an exciting portfolio of ground engineering projects across the UK building and civil engineering sectors as you experience all stages from work winning to site project delivery. This will make you a well-rounded engineer and help you in achieving your professional qualification.
Our previous Quantity Surveyors have enjoyed meeting lots of new people, exploring new cities, and seeing the range of challenges presented across the UK.
