Qualifications

• Experience working on software engineering projects within a classified environment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with MOD and Defence Industry clients to understand mission requirements.
• Design and develop high-quality, secure software using Defence-approved toolchains.
• Collaborate with systems engineers and solution architects to deliver integrated solutions.

Skills

Proven experience delivering software engineering projects within the UK Defence ecosystem

Strong knowledge of secure software development practices

Proficiency in Python, Java, C++, Rust, or Go

Familiarity with Defence-relevant software frameworks and toolsets

Experience working within Unix/Linux environments

Hands-on experience with Agile or Scrum delivery methods

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or MODCloud)
