Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Reporting Manager to join our Data Operations team at Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK). Reporting to the Senior Data Reporting Manager, you will play a key role in promoting, facilitating, and implementing robust data standards across the TMK Group, ensuring alignment with TM Group standards where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion Data Standards: Promote and communicate the value of data standards, ensuring understanding across the business. Track and report on compliance with these standards.
  • Drive Data Quality: Lead the adoption of automated data quality tools to manage data risk effectively.
  • Ensure Alignment: Align operational activities with TMK and TM Group data standards and governance objectives.
  • Foster Data Ownership: Collaborate with teams across the business to build a strong culture of data responsibility.
  • Analyse & Report: Work with data owners to identify and understand the root causes of data issues.
  • Advise on Best Practice: Provide guidance on data governance, ensuring TMK’s approach supports operational, IT, and functional strategies.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Comply with PRA & FCA Conduct Rules.
    • Adhere to financial crime regulations and relevant statutory requirements.
  • Champion Inclusion: Embed diversity, inclusion, and equality in your work by collaborating inclusively, completing I&D training, and engaging with our I&D networks.
About You
  • Strong knowledge of data quality and governance, with experience using analytical tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Power BI, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and advanced Excel.
  • Experience with insurance data sets and their business applications is desirable.
  • Strategic mindset for identifying, reporting, and resolving data quality issues.
  • Ability to maintain perspective and prioritise key data effectively.
