We are an innovative and market‑leading software & services company based in Chorley serving clients in the utility sector ranging from new entrants to large existing suppliers. We deliver sophisticated software solutions and managed services in a Hybrid Cloud infrastructure, servicing both traditional and modern real‑time, smart energy clients.
We operate a Hybrid working policy so you will be able to flex between working in the office and your home location to carry out this role, however during your initial training period the need to be in the office with other team members will be essential. Our UK office is based in Chorley, which is where you will be based.

The Data Migration Specialist will be responsible for planning, executing, and validating data migration activities as part of system implementation or transformation projects. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work closely with clients to understand their business context, translate requirements into migration templates, and support validation, assessment, and testing processes. As this is a new role to ESG, you will be expected to lead the charge with helping to shape and define the role and key responsibilities in conjunction with key internal stakeholders to ensure it delivers value to our internal teams and our customers.
While the role operates within core working hours, as this is client‑facing, there may be occasional requirements to provide support during evenings or weekends for specific delivery projects or events.
