  • Monitor System Performance: Continuously observe system metrics to ensure optimal operation and identify potential issues.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular checks and maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and efficiency of data centre systems.
  • Troubleshoot Technical Issues: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems to minimise downtime and service disruptions.
  • Manage Backups and Data Recovery: Oversee backup operations and implement data recovery procedures to protect against data loss.
  • Ensure Physical Security: Maintain security protocols to protect data centre facilities and equipment from unauthorised access and physical threats.
  • Support Network Infrastructure: Assist in the maintenance and optimisation of network connectivity within the data centre.
  • Maintain Cleanliness and Organisation: Keep the data centre environment clean and well-organised to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Document Procedures and Changes: Record details of installations, configurations, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting efforts for future reference.
  • Collaborate with IT Teams: Work closely with other IT professionals to support overall data centre operations and address any issues that arise.
