Data Analytics Developer role within the Global Tech team. The role involves design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines in the Data Studio, and design and development of reports and dashboards using Sigma Computing and other solutions. The Data Analytics Developer will work with data technologies and datasets within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities
- Design/develop/test/document data pipelines to integrate data from various sources into the data lake, and to transform data within the warehouse.
- Prepare automated tests to ensure that data pipelines are working as designed, and that data quality is as expected.
- Assist in the design and implementation of data warehouse models and marts to structure data for analysis purposes.
- Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting the data lakehouse processes to ensure smooth operation and performance.
- Develop, test, and maintain Sigma reports and dashboards per user requests.
- Provide data extracts and basic analyses on an ad hoc basis for non-technical users.
- Collaborate with a globally-distributed team of developers, analysts, and power users to help peermusic get the most out of our data.
Skills/Experience
- Experience of working in data engineering or similar role, implementing data pipelines, integrations, or ETL/ELT between a variety of sources and targets.
- SQL: Ability to query and manipulate data in relational databases is critical.
- Python: Basic Python skills for data manipulation are required.
- Microsoft Office suite: Proficiency in Excel is essential; proficiency in other Office tools is beneficial.
- Data Cleaning and Manipulation: Able to work with data formats (e.g. XML, JSON, CSV/TSV) to preprocess, clean, and transform raw data into usable formats for analysis.
- Experience in the music industry is a strong advantage.
- Design: Experience of architecting data lake and warehouse structures and modelling data for analysis.
- Data manipulation: Ability to work with data formats (e.g. XML, JSON, CSV, Parquet, Avro) and perform basic analysis.
- PySpark: Proficiency for processing in a distributed environment is highly desirable.
- Large data sets: Experience with multi-million or billion-row datasets and related challenges.
- Reporting/BI tools: Experience with tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Sigma Computing, QlikView to query data and prepare analytical reports is desirable.
- Technologies: Experience with Databricks is beneficial, as is experience with Sigma Computing. Experience with Git and GitHub.
- Linguistic: Any fluency in Spanish would be beneficial.

Location / Flexibility
Based from the peermusic London offices, in Richmond-upon-Thames. Flexibility for WFH 2 days/week, in coordination with other team members.
