Opportunity is around the corner as Pertemps are working in partnership with BOC based in Stallingborough, recruiting for a Cylinder Operative to join their team. The ideal candidate will be required to provide prepared cylinders and drums in accordance with production schedules and production orders.

What will I be doing as a Cylinder Operative?
  • Processing full and empty cylinders in the yard, including sorting and blowing down
  • Testing cylinders in line with legal and safety requirements
  • Ensuring only clean, safe, refurbished cylinders remain in circulation
  • Isolating damaged cylinders for repair or removal
  • Refurbishing cylinders to programme requirements outside routine testing
  • Working safely and maintaining a clean working environment
