Position Summary & Primary Objectives

The Business Development Manager will identify growth opportunities and develop and implement strategies to win and increase the sales of CyberCX products, services and capabilities across the United Kingdom.

The Business Development Manager will develop CyberCX’s presence and reputation in the market and generate new business opportunities, positioning CyberCX as an international force of cyber security experts.

The Business Development Manager is responsible for sourcing relationships with new clients and key decision-makers to develop business opportunities for a new sector, product, service, solution or client.

The Business Development Manager is accountable for meeting sales targets and KPIs.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients
  • Develop and execute a sales plan that assists in the expansion of the CyberCX customer base and achieves defined sales targets
  • Own your customers’ experience and journey, from solution proposition through transition to delivery
  • Build strong, long‑lasting customer relationships by partnering to understand client needs and preferences
  • Maintain strong knowledge of CyberCX service offerings and the ability to present them with intelligence and conviction
  • Respond to customer requirements, including requests for quotes/proposals/tenders
  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives to drive new business
  • Identify opportunities for business improvement and strategic new business initiatives
  • Resolve escalated customer issues
Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Skills
  • At least 2 years of Cyber Security sales experience, with meaningful experience selling technology services or information security services to enterprise‑size clients
  • Proven experience as a hunter in developing and executing on a sales plan
  • A record of consistently exceeding quota
  • Demonstrable ability to win new customers and understand how to leverage the considerable assets of your organisation to grow your accounts
  • Solution‑Selling and/or Value Selling experience

This role is based Remote from the United Kingdom.
