A leading agricultural gene-editing company in Norwich is seeking a Crop Trials Study Manager to oversee banana field trials and drive data collection, analysis, and reporting. This role requires a PhD or MSc in a relevant field, alongside strong organizational and communication skills. You'll collaborate with external partners to execute field trials effectively while adhering to all regulatory standards. With the expansion of Tropics crop field trial portfolio, we have a new, exciting opportunity for a Crop Trials Study Manager to join the Product Evaluation team, supporting our global field trial strategy and regulatory efforts.
A Crop Trials Study Manager is required to support the growing number of banana trials being conducted simultaneously across multiple geographies. The role will be responsible for designing and overseeing field trials, both independently and in collaboration with Tropics partners. The Crop Trials Study Manager will primarily oversee banana field trials across multiple locations, including plant inventory management, trial design, trial implementation, evaluation, and data analysis. As Tropics continues to expand its field trial portfolio to support increasing commercial activities, this role will ensure effective management of trials throughout the product life cycle. This includes proof-of-concept studies to identify development leads, as well as pre-commercial and commercial field trials to support product development and market readiness.
