A leading global real estate provider seeks a Critical Engineering Manager for a 12-month FTC in London. The manager is responsible for ensuring critical system maintenance, managing subcontractors, and reviewing service reports to achieve 100% uptime. Candidates should possess experience with high and low voltage systems, ideally in a critical facility environment. NEBOSH/IOSH training is preferred along with a proactive approach to project management. This role offers a full-time contract on-site in London.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally managing multi-skilled engineers.
• Experience with High Voltage/Low Voltage complex systems.
• L8 Water Hygiene experience is required.

Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.**Critical Engineering Manager 12 Month FTC****We are looking for a Critical Engineering Manager for our JLL Work Dynamics business line.****About The Role**Responsible to ensure that all required Critical system maintenance and operational checks are carried out, any reported defects are rectified in a timely manner with liaison with all stakeholders to ensure 100% uptime.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Liaison and management of sub contractors for critical systems ensure access arranged CR in place and ATW/PTW submitted and approved with liaison of Engineering Operations Manager* Liaison with data centre management (Floor management South) team for all works within the data centres including works under JLL and 3rd party works by others.* Preparation and submission of all critical systems change management requests for 8CS to ensure approvals received in good time and paper work correct with all parties aware of works.* Ensure all stakeholders within 8CS are included in critical works schedule to ensure communications passed to all parties specifically liaison with FM, Engineering Ops and sub contractors.* Review service reports for critical systems ensure PMC raised and works completed within SLA.* Liaison and management of subcontractors to ensure completion of all scheduled maintenance in accordance with issued PPM instructions* Ensure that plant checks are completed by physical monitoring from shift plus BMS.**Duties:**Senior Authorised person responsible for:* High and Low Voltage complex systems* Pressure systems* Confined Spaces* Water treatment/ManagementNOTE:All details are provided for guidance only and do not necessarily limit the responsibilities and accountabilities of the role.* Ensuring AP document registers maintained and all AP training up to date.* AE Audits annually as minimum* Project manage Integrated System Tests**Key Performance Measures*** Systems and equipment for the following systems* Data Centre Level 8 & SER management all floors* All CRAC unit operation across all floors.* PDU’s & RPP’s* Static Switches* Fire suppression systems & HSSD/VESDA systems* Fire alarm systems* Leak detection systems to critical areas.* UPS systems, LV & HV systems, Generators, Lift Motor Rooms (LMR)* CRAC units in all rooms* Fire suppression systems & HSSD systems* Leak detection systems to critical areas.**CHW systems**.* General oversight of performance and operation of central plant* Ensure that Cooling towers are fully functional both mechanically & electrically* Review Vibration monitoring system and ensure system operating satisfactorily.**Energy Management*** Maintain energy records and issue of energy consumption information.* Ensure Load and Capacity readings are recorded via Corrigo each month* Ensure daily meter readings are recorded and logged to confirm automatic systems.**Operational*** Oversight of BMS resident engineer and systems* Oversight of Delmatic lighting system* Oversight of all critical systems in the BCR to ensure operational and maintain 100% uptime**SKILLS*** Served a recognised apprenticeship with electrical biased* High Voltage/Low Voltage complex systems Authorised Person* Working to a Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance regime.* NEBOSH/IOSH or other recognised H+S training* L8 Water Hygiene experience required* Able to work under pressure* IT literate with Microsoft Office* Able to work under own initiative* 3+ Years working in a similar role (Ideally in a Critical Facility managing teams of multi-skilled engineers and 3rd party contractors)#LI-JA1**Location:**On-site –London, GBRIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don’t meet all the requirements.
