Join Caister Academy as a Cover Supervisor who will step in, support learning, and keep lessons running smoothly.

Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Location: Caister Academy, Norfolk

Salary: Scale F, Point 12 – 17 £28,598 - £31,022 (Actual £22,936 - £24,880)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: 34.5 hours, 39 weeks. 8:20 - 16:00, Mon - Fri

Interview Date: Week commencing 12th January 2026

About You

Caister Academy are seeking a confident and adaptable individual who can ensure the continuity of high-quality education when cover is required – primarily in the classroom, but occasionally across other areas of the school. You’ll work closely with class teachers to support and deliver engaging learning experiences, helping students stay focused and making sure lessons run smoothly. If you’re calm under pressure, quick to build rapport, and passionate about supporting young people, we’d love to hear from you.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • GCSE English and Maths Grade 3 minimum or equivalent
  • High level of education
  • Proven experience working in an educational environment
  • Ability to build effective relationships with students and staff
  • Proven experience in classroom management
