A children's support organization in March is seeking a qualified counsellor for a 1-year fixed-term contract. The role involves working with children and young people aged 5-13, ensuring their safety and well-being through therapeutic interventions and consistent safeguarding practices. Ideal candidates will have BACP registration and at least 12 months of relevant experience. This position requires commitment to maintaining high safeguarding standards and may involve daily travel across Cambridgeshire.
Join Ormiston Families as a qualified counsellor to work with children and young people aged 5-13. The role is a 1 year fixed‑term contract, 35 hours per week, based in the home office in March, Cambridgeshire, with daily travel across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. Part‑time (minimum 21 hours) may be considered.
We provide a single‑session thinking (SST) approach with training and clinical supervision. Most sessions will be face‑to‑face in schools; SST sessions are mainly online.
Provide blended first appointments using SST and short‑term therapeutic interventions, ensuring safeguarding and child‑protection standards are met.
