Job description
Responsibilities
  • Lead the provision of Clinical Psychology Services within Community Neurorehabilitation Services, offering leadership, supervision, consultation, and professional guidance.
  • Provide line management and supervision of Clinical Psychology colleagues across the neurorehabilitation care pathway.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to enhance psychological understanding and support the stepped care model.
  • Design and implement care pathways and protocols to assess and manage mood and cognition difficulties in accordance with national guidance.
  • Manage complex referrals within a stepped care model and engage in auditing the effectiveness of neurorehabilitation services.
  • Mentor and manage preceptorship posts, prioritise workload, and oversee referral management.
  • Spend time at the bases for each service (Warsop Primary Care Centre, Retford Primary Care Centre), conduct patient visits, and support remote working.
Qualifications
  • HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist.
  • Substantive experience working with people with neurological conditions.
  • Postdoctoral training in Clinical Neuropsychology.
  • Completed or enrolled on the full Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology.
  • Proven record in leading services and managing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships with professionals, patients, and families.
