ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Construction Site Manager, based in Banbridge, to be part of our growing team. This role is initially for a 9‑month period, with the possibility of extension depending on future project requirements.

The Construction Site Manager will be responsible for the full planning, coordination, delivery, and handover of an industrial workshop facility at our Head Office in Banbridge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project & Site Management
  • Lead and manage the daily construction activities across groundworks, civils, and new-build elements.
  • Oversee the proper sequencing and delivery of foundations, steel structures, cladding, flooring, cranes, services, and workshop equipment interfaces.
  • Ensure efficient workflow, scheduling, and programme adherence in fast‑paced and live environments.
  • Drive progress to meet strict project timelines and deliver the project on programme.
Quality, Compliance & Safety
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship across all site operations.
  • Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety requirements, including RAMS, site inductions, and regulatory obligations.
  • Uphold strict quality control procedures from initial site setup through to final fit‑out and handover.
Leadership & Coordination
  • Supervise and coordinate trades, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective collaboration and productivity.
  • Communicate proactively with clients, project managers, and stakeholders to support smooth project delivery.
  • Provide strong leadership to maintain site efficiency, solve problems, and drive continuous progress.
EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
  • Strong background in groundworks, civils, and new‑build construction.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Advanced Knowledge of Excel, Office, Word
QUALIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL
  • CSCS (Manager or equivalent) required.
  • NVQ Level 6/7, HNC/HND, or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
