Qualifications

  • Experience with Scottish rural environment and planning process.
  • Membership with a relevant professional body is desirable.
  • Experience with construction processes like earthworks and drainage.

Responsibilities

  • Support project teams in preparing for construction and ensuring compliance.
  • Develop relationships with consenting bodies and statutory authorities.
  • Secure Planning Permission and Electricity Act consents for electricity projects.
  • Conduct site appraisals to identify consenting and technical risks.
  • Deliver Environmental Impact Assessments by managing external consultations.

Skills

Strong knowledge of the Scottish planning process
