As a Conference Support Volunteer, you’ll help support our Conference Team with functions and meetings welcoming visitors and giving them information and help.

Details

This is a flexible role dependent upon monthly conference and meeting room bookings. To be agreed in advance with the volunteer. Typically Monday to Friday. AM or PM shifts. We ask you to commit to this role for a period of at least 6 months.

About Priscilla Bacon Lodge

Priscilla Bacon Lodge has provided Specialist Palliative Care to people around Norfolk for 40 years. The new Priscilla Bacon Lodge opened in September 2023 and is home to a state-of-the-art palliative care unit. It has been built on an 8-acre site adjacent to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. Century Place Colney Norwich NR4 7YA. As well as inpatient beds, a day unit and a wellbeing centre, the Lodge will act as hub for community-based services, enabling people to receive care in their own homes. The 8-acre site has given the unique opportunity of delivering the landscape, garden, formal gardens and a wildflower meadow.
