Job summary

A local government authority is seeking a part-time Community Support Worker in Elgin, responsible for providing care and support to individuals with disabilities. You will assist with household tasks, promote independence, and enable social integration for service users. This role requires experience in dealing with adults with learning disabilities, as well as active listening and communication skills. A valid driving licence is required to travel between various locations. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary.

  • Willingness to undertake SVQ qualification.
  • Full Driving licence required.

Under the Act is is a legal requirement for an individual undertaking a regulated role within children or protected adults to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme.
