A renowned hospitality group in Brighton is looking for a Commis Chef to join their vibrant kitchen team. This permanent position offers competitive rates of £12.30ph for a 40-hour work week. About the Location: Opened 2002. 49 Bedrooms. 68-seater Bistro & Bar. 6 Private Event Spaces - seating up to 100. Nestled in the iconic cobbled alleyways of The Lanes. Brighton is vibrant with Regency heritage, beachfront attractions, culture and year‑round festivals and events.

About The Role: Commis Chef, Hotel du Vin Brighton. £12.30ph / 40 hours. Permanent position.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Kitchen team in delivering high standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Work with the brigade to ensure dishes leave the pass to specification and on time.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations and equipment.
  • Assist with stock control and mise en place as required by the Sous Chef and Head Chef.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
