Location: Mindplace Chertsey, 124 Melita House, Chertsey, KT16 8LA | Employment Type: Part‑time, Permanent (minimum 2 days per week)
Salary: Competitive plus excellent Bupa benefits.
Working Hours: Sessions Monday–Friday: Early shift 08:00–16:00, Late shift 14:00–22:00, with at least one late shift per week; Saturdays 08:30–17:00 (at least one every three weekends). Each day includes 5 appointments.
Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and/or low‑level brief interventions with excellent clinical outcomes.
- Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations to drive evidence‑based interventions and determine appropriate care pathways.
- Offer service delivery via face‑to‑face, telephone or video consultations based on client preference.
- Adhere to Bupa case‑management processes, collaborate with Clinical Leads and the wider therapy team.
- Respect session limits aligned with clients’ private medical insurance and work towards therapeutic recovery goals.
- Provide sign‑posting or onward referrals and ad‑hoc wellbeing support as required.
- Conduct one‑off assessments, referral recommendations and group psycho‑education sessions, workshops, or training.
- Work autonomously within professional guidelines and Bupa service policies.
- Attend regular clinical supervision, individually and group‑based, in line with BUPA and professional body guidelines.
- Collaborate with operational and clinical teams to improve client and employee experiences.
Key Skills / Qualifications
- Post‑Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT/High Intensity) accredited by BABCP.
- Full accreditation with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience delivering high‑intensity CBT interventions to working‑age clients.
Desirable
- Training or accreditation in additional specialised areas (e.g., EMDR).
- Corporate experience and business understanding.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
Additional Skills & Experience
- General adult mental health specialism experience.
- IT skills – proficiency with Microsoft systems and electronic medical record systems.
- Ability to evaluate, plan and prioritise workload within demanding time scales.
- Proven customer service and client liaison experience.
- Excellent application of clinical knowledge, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong professional and personal drive, self‑motivated and self‑sufficient.
- Rapid and decisive decision‑making, strong problem‑solving capability, team player.
- Experience managing own caseload, achieving individual targets and outcomes, diary management, and utilisation targets.
- High standards in written and oral communication, diverse and varied clinical experience.
