Job summary

A local education trust is seeking a Cleaning and Facilities Officer for St Stephens Infant School. This role includes ensuring the safety of the school at day's end, conducting repairs, and performing cleaning duties. Ideal candidates will have experience in industrial cleaning and a can-do attitude. Qualifications

  • Previous industrial cleaning experience is essential.
  • A full UK Driving Licence is desirable.
  • Having own transport is also desirable.

Job description

We are looking to recruit aCleaning and Facilities Officerto join our team at St Stephens Infant School. The successful candidate will be responsiblefor locking the school and making all safety checks at the end of the day. Duties will include ad-hoc repairs to the school building and grounds.Inspecting and patrolling the school building and grounds as well as carrying out cleaning duties. This will involve mopping, dusting, vacuuming, emptying bins, cleaning corridors, toilet areas and all related duties. You will also be required to move furniture and use heavy duty cleaning equipment. You must have a can-do attitude and work well in a team. Previous industrial cleaning essential.

  • Experience of facilities and operational functions (desirable)
  • Experience of working with, or willing to be trained in the use of Computer Assisted Facilities Management Software (CAPM) (Essential)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Desirable)
  • Own Transport (Desirable)
  • Be Reliable and Trustworthy
