A regional local authority is seeking Civil Enforcement Officers to ensure compliance with parking policies in South Shields. This role offers a salary of £27,227 per annum plus allowances and requires excellent customer service skills. Flexible shifts are required, and there is a commitment to safeguarding welfare, with background checks expected.

£27,227 pa + Weekend and Bank Holiday Allowance
You will guarantee that policies and legislation in respect of Parking Controls are conformed to on public streets and in car parks. This will include issuing Penalty Charge Notices to vehicles in contravention of the Regulations.
Excellent customer service and communication skills. Assertive and polite when dealing with people in difficult situations. Trustworthy. Physically able to meet the demands of the role and capable of walking outdoors.
Flexible; required to work various shifts between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm Monday to Sunday (including Bank Holidays).
