Job summary

A leading kitchen manufacturer in Barton-upon-Humber is seeking an experienced Chef to join their busy kitchen. The role requires a passion for delivering exceptional catering experiences, with responsibilities including food service and inventory management. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 05:30 to 14:00, offering a salary of £29,500 along with a quarterly bonus. Ideal candidates should have strong culinary skills and experience in a high-volume environment.

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our busy kitchen, based at our brad new, state of the art factory in Barton-Upon-Humber. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional catering experiences to all Wren Employees. The position is Monday to Friday, 05:30 - 14:00. The salary for the position is £29,500 plus Quarterly Bonus up to £250.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serving and handling of food in the canteen
  • Manage inventory and ensure that all ingredients are fresh and available to use
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and maintaining the safety standards
  • Foster a positive and professional environment, working seamlessly with co‑workers and customers
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Keep the workstation tidy, including clearing down at the end of the shift, washing up and good observation of cleanliness
Desired Skills and Knowledge
  • Catering to a large volume at a high standard
  • Experience cooking with fresh produce is essential
  • Good cooking and communication skills
