Job summary

A hospitality group in Bolton is seeking an experienced Chef to oversee culinary operations across various outlets. Job description

The Chef at Bolton White Group is responsible for overseeing the culinary operations across assigned outlets or locations. This includes managing food preparation, maintaining the highest quality and hygiene standards, designing innovative menus, and leading the kitchen team to consistently deliver exceptional dining experiences. The Chef plays a critical role in upholding the group’s reputation for excellence in hospitality, taste, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Plan and execute menus that align with brand standards and guest preferences.
  • Innovate dishes for seasonal specials, events, and themed promotions.
  • Ensure consistent food presentation and portion control across all meals.
  • Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff; schedule shifts and assign duties.
  • Monitor food stock levels, order supplies, and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Implement and monitor compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations (NAFDAC, HACCP, etc.).
  • Collaborate with F&B managers, event coordinators, and procurement to ensure seamless kitchen service during events and peak periods.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and coordinate regular maintenance checks.
  • Stay up to date with culinary trends and bring creative input to the menu.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Chef, Sous Chef, or similar role in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Culinary school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of international and local cuisines.
