Qualifications and experience required
  • HNC/Degree in Architectural Technology, Design or similar qualifications
  • MCIAT certified, with several years of UK-based industry experience
  • Must have industry experience, specifically within the residential sector of the industry, including UK residential construction methods and detailing
  • Must be based locally or willing to travel
  • High level of experience with AutoCAD software. Not a must have, bit it would be great if the candidate has experience Revit or similar, BIM modelling and Sketchup Pro
Key accountabilities of the role
  • Working alongside and taking instruction from the managing director
  • Supporting the creative design team
  • Supporting the construction team, including the contracts director and site managers
  • Producing full planning drawings and documents from the project Architects initial concepts
  • Producing full construction drawings and specification packages
  • Producing full tender packages
  • Carrying out survey work on-site and producing record drawing information
  • Creating as-built drawings for completed projects
  • Travelling to properties to carry out measured surveys and relevant checks
  • Communicating with statutory authorities, suppliers, subcontractors, site managers and fabricators
  • Certification/annual fees covered
  • Continued Professional Development (CPD) opportunities
  • Encouragement and support in further education and CPD training
  • Mentor to assist and fast track development
  • Development opportunities for associate/senior management positions
  • 25 days holiday to include Bank Holidays
  • Travelling and expenses
  • £38,000 to £46,000 per annum, dependent on experience

This is a permanent full-time role, with Monday to Friday working hours between 8:30am and 5pm.
