The Team covers all aspects of the ceded operational function for Sompo, for UK and European Branches. We support the business by working with internal stakeholders such as Claims & Underwriting as well as external partners such Brokers & Reinsurers.**Location:** This position will be based out of our **London** office. We strive for collaboration which is why we offer a work environment where our employees thrive and develop long lasting careers.**Our business, your impact, our opportunity****What you’ll be doing:*** Account preparation and analysis for all ceded types.* Assist with the cash entry and application process for all ceded types.* Assist with the calculation and booking of premiums and claims recoveries for XOL, facultative and quota share covers within core systems.* Prepare and maintain proportional treaty statement aging schedules for internal reporting and tracking of overdue accounts.* Liaise with cash analysts, underwriting departments, Claims department, brokers and clients to resolve queries.* Ensure high quality data and contract set up within the reinsurance systems.* Assist with the ceded Aged Debt and Unallocated Cash Analysis.* Utilisation of technology to maximize efficiency of the ceded reinsurance department.**What you’ll bring:*** Ability to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment* General knowledge of insurance and reinsurance principles.
