A local government council in Cross Hands is looking for a Catering Assistant to assist in preparing nutritious meals while ensuring compliance with Food Hygiene. The role offers various contract hours of 15, 21.25, and 25 hours per week during term time only. Candidates should be passionate about cooking, possess good people skills, and be ready to learn new tasks. An annualized pay scheme and generous benefits are included, along with an emphasis on a supportive work environment.
£25,390 per annum (based on 37 hours). Hourly rate is £13.16.

You will be responsible for assisting our Cook in preparing nutritious and appetising meals while ensuring compliance with all aspects of Food Hygiene and Health and Safety. Other duties will include setting up and clearing away tables and general cleaning duties. Working hours are Monday to Friday, term time only (38 weeks). We offer an "annualised" pay scheme so that staff who work term time receive pay over 52 weeks.
