About The Role

This is a flexible worker role, covering various shifts around. Earliest start time is 5.30am dependant on area and shift covering these are around 3 hours per shift, the latest finish time is 9.30pm these shifts have a 4.30/5.00pm start time.

There are also training/cover hours for the ward during the day.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various areas, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants.

Must be a dependant and reliable, able to arrive on time and be able to get to site for 5:30am as no public transport at that time, and get home from site if working evenings, references must be available from previous employer. The role is to learn all aspects of cleaning for each department, training can take 10 to 12 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Tasks may include sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floor areas as needed.
• Surface Cleaning such as wiping down doors, shelves, seating, handrails, and other surfaces.
• Ensuring all areas are kept clean and free from litter at all times.
• Responsibilities may include maintaining public toilets and circulation areas, ensuring they are clean and tidy.
• Addressing and cleaning up any spillages promptly to maintain a safe environment.

Ideal Candidate Criteria

• Must have Right to Work in the UK
• An enhanced DBS will be completed for the successful candidate.
• Desirable to have experience in cleaning or be willing to learn.
• Desirable to have an understanding of COSHH and working in similar environments.
• An understanding of following H&S rules and its importance
