Overview

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our growing team. You’ll provide high-quality personal care and support to our clients in their own homes across Wolverhampton. Duties include assisting with daily activities, medication support, and emotional companionship.

Job Responsibilities
  • Personal Care Support
  • Medication Assistance
  • Prompting or administering prescribed medication
  • Maintaining accurate medication records (MAR charts)
  • Meal Preparation
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals and drinks
  • Supporting clients with eating and drinking when needed
  • Companionship
  • Providing emotional support and conversation
  • Encouraging clients to participate in social or leisure activities
  • Household Tasks
  • Light cleaning, laundry, and household management
  • Shopping and running errands on behalf of the client
  • Observing changes in a client’s condition or mood
  • Reporting concerns to senior staff or healthcare professionals
  • Record Keeping
  • Documenting care visits, incidents, and daily notes accurately
  • Maintaining confidentiality in line with GDPR and care policies
  • Encouraging clients to do tasks for themselves where possible
  • Promoting dignity, choice, and respect in all interactions
  • Liaising with Families and Other Professionals
  • Keeping family members informed of care progress
  • Working alongside GPs, nurses, and social workers when required

Qualification Requirements
  • Previous care experience preferred but not essential (training provided)
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (desirable)
