Overview

Join to apply for the Care Assistant role at Abacare

Location: Rhosneigr, Bodorgan, Bodedern, Gwalchmai, Llangefni LL65 & LL64, Holyhead and Valley LL65

Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour. Travel time and mileage paid.

Shifts available: You will be required to work shifts between the hours of 7am and 11pm, including 2 evenings a week and every other weekend. Access to a vehicle is required due to the geographical location of the role.

What you’ll do

Our care assistants are the extraordinary people who do the everyday things that mean so much to our clients. You will support clients to live safer and supported lives in their own homes, follow individual care plans, assist with personal care (e.g., helping clients bathe, dress, manage incontinence, use the toilet) and support them with their medications. You’ll also help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes and housework.

What you’ll need

You don’t need any social care experience to apply. We’re looking for compassion and a genuine ability to care. You’ll need to be resilient and willing to learn new skills as part of a close-knit team.
