Care Assistant

Location: Castleford Lodge Care Home, Oxford Street, Castleford, West Yorkshire, WF10 5DF.

Salary: £12.21 - £12.46 per hour.

Schedule: Bank hours.

Job type: Bank.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver personal care such as washing, dressing, toileting, and oral hygiene.
• Support residents in meaningful activities, leisure outings, and appointments.
• Serve meals and refreshments with warmth and courtesy.
• Maintain a clean, pleasant, and welcoming environment.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional wellbeing.
• Act as a key worker for a group of residents, ensuring care is tailored to their individual preferences.
• Support new team members and contribute to a positive team culture.
