The Role


Car Park Manager – University Hospital Limerick

APCOA Parking is looking for aCar Park Managerto oversee and manage our parking operations atUniversity Hospital Limerick. This is a key role requiring strong leadership, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

You'll work closely with the Regional Contracts Manager to lead the on-site team, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, meet client KPIs, and provide outstanding service to the public.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the hospital car parks and support services
  • Supervise and motivate a team, ensuring high standards of service and professionalism
  • Deliver internal and external KPIs, ensuring compliance with APCOA and client expectations
  • Liaise regularly with the Regional Contracts Manager and hospital client team
  • Manage staff rotas, budgets, and site performance reports
  • Maintain strong client relationships and represent APCOA on-site
  • Conduct audits, safety checks, and ensure adherence to Health & Safety policies
  • Assist support departments including Customer Service, Finance, and Marketing
  • Identify areas for service improvement and staff development

What We’re Looking For

Essential Experience & Skills:

  • Proven leadership in a customer-facing, operational role
  • Strong team management and communication skills
  • Experience preparing and presenting performance reports
  • Ability to manage budgets and operational KPIs
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Competence in Microsoft Office and reporting systems
  • Full manual Irish driving license is required

Preferred but Not Essential:

  • Experience in parking or facilities management
  • Contract/client management experience (minimum 3 years preferred)
