A leading tourism partnership in Belfast is seeking a Business Events Account Manager to drive economic impact through developing sales opportunities in the business events sector. You will work with key stakeholders, create professional bids, and promote Belfast as a premier destination for conferences and events. The ideal candidate will have strong sales and relationship management skills, a background in marketing, and commitment to maximizing partnership opportunities. This role involves national and international travel as well as networking events.
As a business events account manager, you will work as part of a multi award-winning sales team to promote Belfast and Northern Ireland as a worldclass, business events destination.
As a proactive member of the business events team, you will identify, develop and convert sales opportunities to help deliver ambitious economic impact targets and sales KPIs.
You will lead bids for international and national conferences, meetings and events for Belfast that also help to support economic development objectives for the region and represent the city nationally and internationally.
