About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Developerwith a strong background in the biomethane and biogas marketto drive growth across UK & Ireland. This role is pivotal in expanding our project portfolio, building strategic partnerships, and strengthening our market presence in Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies for biomethane projects across the target regions
• Identify, assess, and secure new commercial opportunities (greenfield and brownfield projects)
• Build and manage relationships with end users, EPCs, developers, utilities, off-takers, regulators, investors and regulatory bodies
• Lead commercial negotiations and coordinate the preparation of technical & commercial offers
• Monitor regulatory frameworks, incentives, and market trends in each country
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences and stakeholder meetings
• Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities than can convert into sales.

Required Profile

• Minimum 5–8 years’ experiencein business development within the biogas, biomethane or renewable gas markets
• Proven track record of closing deals and developing projects in at least one of the target regions
• Strong understanding of biomethane value chains (feedstock, upgrading, grid injection, offtake)
• Excellent commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently in a cross-border, fast-paced environment
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a strong asset
