Join PwC’s dynamic CTAS team and help deliver high‑quality insolvency and restructuring services. We’re seeking an ambitious qualified accountant or lawyer who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and is committed to building long‑term relationships across our firm and with external stakeholders.

You will play a key role in the management and delivery of insolvency assignments, with a focus on statutory compliance, stakeholder communication and high‑quality reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal or accounting professional to broaden their experience within a market‑leading insolvency practice.

Key responsibilities
  • Drafting reports and case updates
  • Assisting with preparation for court hearings, including bundles, affidavits, and evidence collation
  • Conducting investigatory work (e.g. records review, asset tracing, transaction analysis)
  • Liaising with creditors, debtors, legal counsel, and other stakeholders
  • Maintaining robust case files, statutory records and workpapers in line with regulatory requirements
  • Supporting risk, compliance and quality procedures on all assignments
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing within the team
About you
  • Qualified accountant (e.g., ACA/ACCA/CPA) or qualified lawyer (admitted solicitor/barrister/legal executive), or equivalent
  • Experience in insolvency/restructuring, disputes, investigations, or corporate advisory is advantageous
  • Strong analytical skills with a critical eye for detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and stakeholder management
  • Proven time management and organisational ability; able to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Proactive problem‑solver and genuine team player
  • Competent IT skills (e.g., Microsoft Office and Excel proficiency desirable)
  • Accounting knowledge for legal candidates and/or legal exposure for accounting candidates is beneficial but not essential
  • Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality and quality
