As a volunteer bid writer, you will have a direct and tangible impact on the lives of people in our community. Your efforts in securing funding are the engine that powers our programs. The grants you help us win will directly translate into providing essential resources for our skills workshops, giving people who are homeless and young people the chance to learn and grow. The funds will also help us run educational trips to Parliament, empowering youth and volunteers to become advocates for change. Ultimately, your work will provide crucial financial support to the social enterprises we champion, allowing them to expand their reach and create more opportunities for a more just society.
We are looking for a volunteer with a passion for social change and the following skills and qualities
As a volunteer bid writer, you will be directly responsible for crafting compelling funding applications that will secure financial support for our community-focused projects. Your key deliverable will be the submission of well-researched and persuasive grant applications and bids. You will work closely with the leadership teams and project managers at both The Peoples Hub and the FJSS Group to gather all necessary information, data, and stories to inform your writing. This is a flexible role, and we are open to discussing how your skills can best be applied to our current and upcoming funding needs.
