Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and leading a dynamic team? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Bar Supervisor to oversee our bar operations and facilities during exciting events. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine leadership skills with a vibrant, customer‑focused environment.

In this role, you’ll take charge of supervising the bar team, ensuring every shift runs smoothly and professionally. You’ll maintain high standards of service, uphold licensing laws including Challenge 25 and guarantee responsible alcohol service. From opening and closing procedures to stock management, you’ll make sure everything is compliant, secure and presented to the highest standard.

You’ll be the go‑to person for creating a welcoming atmosphere, handling customer enquiries and feedback with confidence and care. Working closely with the Event Manager, you’ll help deliver memorable experiences for our guests while promoting Freedom Leisure products and events to boost engagement and sales.

Hours: Casual hours, as and when required.

Requirements
  • Due to licensing requirements you must be 18+ for this role
  • Experience of working in a customer facing catering environment
  • Experience of managing a varied workload
  • Supervisory experience to include – Team supervision, rota management & managing customer comments
  • The skill to establish key relationships swiftly and appropriately
  • IT skills including excel
  • Good understanding of people management and role model of expected behaviours
  • An ability to analyse problems, situations and information, think laterally and present creative solutions
  • Knowledge of licensing laws and food hygiene regulations
  • Awareness of cost‑effective methods of working
  • Drive and energy to enthuse the staff they are working with
  • Team orientated approach, able to work across organisation boundaries and demonstrate interest and be supportive of the work of colleagues
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable)
