Job description

Bank Pharmacist

Location: Birmingham - The Harborne Hospital

Contract type: Bank

Hours: Tuesday-Friday 9-5pm.

Pay rate: From £25.00 per hour

At HCA UK we’re incredibly proud of our team culture. It’s this sense of connection and collaboration that allows us to deliver exceptional outcomes for our patients. But, we know that no hospital team is complete without the vital support of its bank – and now, we’re looking for Pharmacists to support our teams across The Harborne Hospital.

During this time we are looking for Pharmacists that commit to full time hours 9-5pm Tuesday to Friday (not ad‑hoc days).

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic and supportive team, working alongside some of the UK’s leading consultants in a world‑class environment equipped with cutting‑edge technology. The Harborne Hospital delivers a wide range of specialist services including oncology, haematology, rheumatology, cardiology, and gastroenterology—caring for adult patients across complex pathways.

As a key member of the pharmacy team, you will work under the guidance of senior colleagues to provide efficient, patient focused, operational pharmacy services which consistently meet the needs of all service users.

Above all else, we’re committed to the care and improvement of human life. It’s this guiding vision that influences everything we do at HCA UK. From the CEO to the colleagues on the floor we all have a part to play in delivering exceptional care to our patients. To others, this may just be a Bank role, but to us, you’re a valued member of our team, a team that improves lives on a daily basis.

What you’ll bring:
  • GPhC registration
  • Experience within a hospital environment
  • Experience within Oncology and general surgical experience
  • Experience within HDU and enhanced care would be desirable.
