Would you like to be part of a pioneering service expanding the Out of Hours provision for specialist palliative care services supporting patients across West Suffolk and Thetford?
As part of the West Suffolk Alliance, we are committed to supporting people to die well, and where possible in accordance with the choices they have made. This means enhancing the support we provide during OOH periods, whilst working in partnership with our community colleagues.
In addition to the existing OOH staff we have the exciting opportunity to be able to expand the hours we offer to patients with additional bank hours (initially for a 4 month period).
We are looking for a driven and ambitious practitioner (Non-Medical Prescribing V300 qualification and with Advanced Clinical Assessment skills optional). The successful candidate will have a Palliative Nursing/paramedic background to work alongside a Healthcare Assistant out of hours. (Hours negotiable between 18:00-08:00)
With experience in specialist palliative care you will be able to support patients where they call home, provide a robust assessment, support timely symptom control, work autonomously in your assessment and decision making.
Closing Date: 31 December 2025
