Job summary

A leading healthcare organization seeks a Band 4 Emergency Department Doctors Rota Co-ordinator to manage rotas and provide administrative support. Ideal candidates will possess NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and experience in a patient-facing role, particularly in healthcare settings. This part-time, fixed-term role is based at Barnet Hospital, offering a salary between £32,199 and £34,876 per annum, inclusive of HCAS. The position necessitates excellent communication and problem-solving skills, alongside the ability to work in a busy clinical environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous work experience in a healthcare setting.

Band 4 Emergency Department Doctors Rota Co-ordinator

Co-ordinate and populate rotas across the Emergency Department.

Manage the day to day delivery of administration service using monitoring tools, problem solving skills and escalating problematic issues

Main duties of the job

To maintain the various medical rotas taking a pre-active approach to filling vacant on-call shifts. Liaising with temporary staffing as appropriate.

Provide cover for doctor's sickness and any leave.

Provide admin support to the Urgent Care management team

Liaise with the Clinical lead on a regular basis

Work under own initiative, with manager available for reference when required

Contribute to achievement of relevant Divisional objectives and goals.

Be a role model providing excellent customer service and world class care.

Line management responsibilities

Coordinate the daily delivery of the service managing annual leave and sick leave, and providing cover when required.
