Job summary

A local community hub in Maidstone seeks a Back of House Kitchen Assistant to help ensure the smooth running of their busy coffee shop. Duties include assisting cooks, cleaning, and supporting food preparation. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic about teamwork and have basic communication skills. Training andExpenses will be provided along with free tea and coffee during volunteer shifts. You will be working from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm on either Mondays or Fridays.

To assist cooks with general smooth running of Community Coffee Shop

Detailed Description

Fusion is a centre for wellbeing, a safe space for all to come and enjoy our coffee shop, activities, events and projects. This unique hub in Park Wood needs an enthusiastic helper to assist with the general running of its busy coffee shop. You must be keen to join in with washing up, tidying, cleaning, as well as work alongside cooks and bakers to help them produce delicious breakfasts, sandwiches, cakes and scones for all who come and spend time in our warm and safe Community Hub. You will be guided by the Coffee Shop Supervisor and will fit in with the team on your volunteering shifts.
